Abstract: Based on the background that owners have clear requirements for project construction scale, equipment production process selection, and construction standards in construction projects, this article analyzes the impact of different building structure types on project duration, construction and installation investment, operating period income, and depreciation assets after the expiration of the service life.

The net present value of project duration benefits, construction and installation investment, and operating period income using different building structure types is calculated and summarized.

By summarizing the high or low net present value, the investment intensity of the project’s entire life cycle is reflected, and the impact trend of building structure types on the cost-effectiveness of investment throughout the life cycle is evaluated.
