In order to promote the green and low-carbon development of the economy and society, the Fujian Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Fujian Provincial People’s Government recently issued the “Action Plan for Accelerating the Comprehensive Green Transformation of Fujian’s Economic and Social Development” (hereinafter referred to as the “Action Plan”).

The Action Plan is divided into three parts: overall requirements, key tasks, and guarantee mechanisms.

It proposes work requirements and goals, and clarifies 20 key tasks in 7 aspects.

In promoting the green transformation of urban and rural construction, the Action Plan proposes to implement green planning and construction methods, and develop precast buildings.

By 2030, precast buildings will account for 40% of the total construction area of new urban buildings that year.
