In order to facilitate the understanding, selection, and effective use of relevant building materials by personnel from construction, design, and construction units, as well as the general public, and to fully leverage the supporting role of materials for “good houses”, the Science and Technology and Industrialization Development Center of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Rural Development has selected 46 suitable building materials for “good house” construction based on the existing work foundation and relevant research results, and has compiled the “Guidelines for the Selection of Good Materials” through public solicitation, expert review, and result publicity, in accordance with the “Law of the People’s Republic of China on Scientific and Technological Progress” and the “Law of the People’s Republic of China on Promoting the Transformation of Scientific and Technological Achievements”.

The content of the “Guidelines” is now excerpted for display, providing reference for relevant units and individuals to understand and choose building materials products.
