On February 11, 2022, the Department of housing and urban rural development of Shanxi Province announced that in 2021, new precast buildings in Shanxi Province will reach 7.76 million square meters, accounting for 23.26% of the new construction area, and the annual goal and task will be successfully completed.
At present, 11 cities in the province have precast construction industrial bases, realizing full coverage of industrial bases within 100 kilometers, and full coverage of concrete structure, steel structure and wood structure system.
In 2021, there were 13 new precast construction related enterprises in Shanxi Province, with a total of 46, 24 parts and components manufacturing enterprises, with a production capacity of about 36.8 million square meters, double that of 2020, and the industrial layout is more reasonable.
In 2022, Shanxi Province will actively promote the implementation of precast construction projects, urge and guide large public buildings invested by the government to adopt steel structure, carry out pilot projects of steel structure housing, cultivate residential buildings with high assembly rate, steadily promote the construction of precast concrete buildings, and strengthen the quality and safety supervision of precast construction projects under construction.
