The research results of steel-concrete composite slab beam were first applied to the bridge project – Beijing Guomao Bridge in 1993.
Its achievements have been successfully applied to Guangzhou Baiyun station of high-speed railway hub, comprehensive service center of Shenzhen Pingshan high tech Zone, phase II of xiong’an business service center and dozens of bridge projects.
Then, it was popularized and applied in the large-span conjoined structure of Zhuhai science and Technology Park (the span of laminated plate composite beam reached 35m) and other projects built in 1999.
The lower traffic was not interrupted during the bridge repair, and the construction period was shortened by more than 50%.
