Practice of Japanese Precast Interior Decoration and Enlightenment from China
Security: From structural separation to full lifecycle management.

Japan has achieved the physical separation of support (building structure) and filling (interior components) through the KSI (Kikou Skeleton Infill) system.
This “century old building+renewable interior” model not only ensures the seismic safety of super high-rise buildings, but also avoids quality hazards in traditional construction through standardized component systems.
For example, in the 1970s, the KEP project developed an open system that separated the structure and components of the building, meeting personalized needs while ensuring building safety.
At present, the standardized installation error of overall bathroom in Japan is controlled within ± 2mm, and the probability of waterproof failure is approaching zero.
