Jinan Metro Line 8- Building subway stations in a “building block” style
Jinan Metro Line 8 is an important transportation corridor connecting the eastern part of Jinan with the central urban area.
It is of great significance for facilitating the travel of people along the line, improving the Jinan Metro network, effectively connecting the central and eastern urban areas of Jinan, enhancing the connectivity and radiation of the eastern region of Jinan, and promoting coordinated economic and social development.
The Second Public Works Bureau undertook the construction of the first phase of Jinan Metro Line 8, including the civil engineering of the first work area and one station (Youth Political College Station), two sections (Xingcun Station to Youth Political College Station and Youth Political College Station to Weizishan Station), the main substation in Xingcun, and the construction of the entire rail transit project.
