Recently, the construction of the upper and lower structures of the G1503 interchange area for the S16 Hongchuan Expressway, which is under the construction of Shanghai Chengtou Highway, is underway.

It is expected to complete the structural connection of the NE ramp (Yangshenghedong) in the interchange area in April this year and the EN ramp (Yangshenghedong) in October.

After the completion of the project, it will fill the gaps in the inter provincial high-speed network in the northern region of Shanghai, enhance the service level of the high-speed road in the northern region of the city, expand the functions of the Yangtze River and coastal corridor, effectively support the development of the international shipping center and the Yangtze River and coastal industrial belt, further strengthen the connection between Shanghai and Jiangsu, and promote the high-quality development of the integration of the Yangtze River Delta.
